This week, we opened the doors to our first Right Room, bringing together a carefully curated group of people from across Ireland’s events, creative, marketing and communications industries for an evening at Lennan’s Yard.

The idea behind Right Room is simple: put brilliant people around one table, give them a reason to start talking, and see what happens.

For our first dinner, we were joined by Andrew Casey, CEO of Headcase, who hosted a conversation around ‘Trust Your Mad Idea’. Andrew shared his experience of building Headcase, backing ideas that don't necessarily make sense on paper, and why sometimes the slightly mad ideas are the ones worth pursuing.

And there were plenty of interesting people around the table to continue that conversation.

We welcomed guests from Entire, H&G Creative, FUEL, RDS, Orange Live, Lumio and more, bringing together founders, creatives, producers, marketers and industry leaders who might not otherwise have found themselves sitting next to one another over dinner.

But that’s really the point.

Right Room isn’t about collecting as many business cards as possible or working your way around a room. It’s about creating the conditions for genuinely good conversations. The sort that start over dinner, wander completely off topic and sometimes lead somewhere unexpected.

There was brilliant food, plenty of wine, new introductions, exchanged ideas and, thankfully, very little small talk.
